Wide Open Spaces {Rosti-Rome}
Looking for a place with great food and lots of space for kids to run? I found it for you. It's Rosti in the Pigneto neighborhood.
I am not usually a fan of the Roman lunch buffet. It is more often than not plates of tepid vitello tonnato and bowls of mayonnaise heavy salads. Rosti could not be farther away from the norm. A big bowl of fresh burrata with salty anchovies right next to it and plates of grilled friggatelli peppers and roasted tomatoes, zucchini and eggplant.
The day we visited the secondi was pork roast that was full of herby flavor.
As we enjoyed the sunny day, scents of cinnamon and apple wafted towards us in the breeze. A fresh out of the oven apple cake was the perfect end to this delightful, relaxing, spacious find.
